As mentioned before, sneakers are my first love! When I heard that designer Ricardo Tisci and Nike would be teaming up to collaborate on the classic and well loved Air Force 1, I had to purchase a pair. Everywhere I sport these bad boys, people can't help but ask, "are they attached?" Yes, this is a sneaker boot. If you aren't too familiar with the collaboration, Ricardo Tisci and Nike created a low-top trainer, mid, high and a sneaker boot in various color ways.

Denim and sneakers are always an option.

Aren't they fabulous?

Did you indulge in this collaboration and grab a pair? If so, which ones?

I must say the summer of 2014 was a great one, probably the highlight of my entire year. I discovered what I wanted to do, snagged an internship with a popular fashion blog and most importantly I had fun! What's funny about the summer is we never want it to end but it has to end in order for us to move forward. It is a bittersweet part of your life that you know you have to make the best of because in two months, it will all be over. Isn't it ironic that winter feels so long but is actually the shortest season?

I think I ate Baked By Melissa cupcakes at least once a week during the summer. I was obsessed and still very obsessed with these pint size treats. They are so delicious! If you haven't tried them already, I recommend grabbing a box! If you aren't near a Baked By Melissa location, you can always order from their site No they did not sponsor this post, I just really enjoy pleasing my sweet tooth with these irresistible cupcakes.

It's okay to reminisce once in a while but it is important to always move forward. Every summer is a chance to create new bittersweet memories with the people you love or even by yourself. I truly can't wait for the summer to come again, can you?

Faux leather pants? Yes. Are leather pants not the ultimate life saver? You can dress them with literally anything and your outfit will look good. If you're taste is like mine (which I'm assuming it is), then you also love Zara. I almost get emotional discussing how much I am in love with that brand. At least one item I wear everyday is from Zara whether it's a hat, my favorite baby blue leather or a pair of boots.

Boots galore! These bad boys are from none other than the infamous Zara.

What is your favorite store?

Everyone has a favorite jacket, mine happens to be this baby blue leather one from Zara. I purchased this jacket last year on one of my many "not supposed to be shopping." trips. We all know those infamous trips where your plans are to go to target and get some more soap but somehow end up in your favorite store at the sale rack.

I think the detour was well worth it because I love my little baby blue leather.

What have you purchased on a "not supposed to be shopping" trip?

Here are my wishlist items for the month of January.

3. Chanel White Leather Trainers

The month of January calls for shearling coats and trainers. If you're like me then I'm sure you rotate just a few select pieces each month. Depending on the weather, I'm usually sporting the same kicks and coat all month long.

Check out how I would wear these pieces below.

Wearing a t-shirt as a dress is probably one of my favorite thing to do. It saves time looking for a pair of pants because you can just throw on black leggings as an alternative.

Who else enjoys pairing high end pieces with streetwear? This is a great way to change up your outfits. If you can't think of what to wear, take one of your fancy pieces out your closet and slip on some running shoes, magic!

I've been searching for a tuxedo dress high and low. Maison Martin Margiela's Pinstriped Tuxedo Dress is to die for. Sneakers and dresses equal perfection.

What are some pieces that you have in rotation for this month?

I had my first teenage love affair with a pair of sneakers. Heck, I even wore sneakers to my high school Prom (yes I really did). The Air Jordan Shadow 10's were the first pair of kicks that ever caught my eye. I remember buying a used pair from a popular sneaker store called Flight Club in the city. They are now somewhere in shoe heaven but will forever remain in my heart.

Don't call PETA, it's just a faux fur.

Anyone else have an utterly crazy obsession with faux furs?  Looking to take your look up 10 notches? Try adding one to your next outfit.

What did you first fall in love with?

If you've made it to this page, I appreciate you dearly. Where do I begin? Well let's just say this isn't my first blog...or my second. I began my first blog in 2008 at the age of 13 during a summer job. If you're from New York, then you've probably heard of SYEP (Summer Youth Employment Program). This is a program that provides young people with summer jobs in their community. Pretty cool right? Well, I originally HATED the job I was given. I had applied to a clothing store in Williamsburg and ended up being chosen to work for a videography company. I begged my mom to try and force the program to change my site but like any great mom, she told me to "suck it up and experience something new." Oh how I am grateful for those words today.

When I arrived at my new job, I had the biggest attitude. I did not want to work in an office and I did not want to just file papers for five hours out of the entire day. But then the magic happened. I met my supervisor and colleagues and we all began to learn what our duties would be for the next two months. My supervisor informed us that we would each have to create a blog and create content for the blog three times a week on whatever topic we were passionate about. "What is a blog," I thought to myself. I had never even heard of the word blog prior to walking into this office. Once we were all shown the basics of blogging and what we needed to do, I was head over heels. It felt as if I were meeting who I really was for the first time. Wow, a place where I could write whatever I wanted and people would actually read it around the world?  My feelings about the job instantly went from "hate" to not wanting to leave work.

Since my first blog I have had about three that all fell to the waist side due to my education (which is a great reason by the way). But now I am officially focused on being committed to my baby.
