HOW TO START WORKING OUT REGULARLY

If you're like me, you hate working out. Now when I say hate, I don't mean you actually hate getting on the treadmill. But, you hate the process of getting up and mentally preparing to hit the gym. This is actually the hardest part of my entire day. But, there are a few tricks that can help you prepare and get in the motion of things to get that body ready for summer!

1. Listen to up-beat music as you get dressed.

This is key when getting your self mentally ready to workout. Believe it or not, music acts as a masseuse for your brain. Just how you have to warm up and stretch before you workout, you have to warm up your brain for the mental exercise it is also about to go through.

2. Eat a light meal an hour before working out.

Getting up and heading to the kitchen to prepare a meal before hitting the gym helps prepare yourself to workout. Don't eat a five course meal before working out, but eat things like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a chicken salad or even drink a protein shake. Never, I repeat never workout on an empty stomach. I personally can tell you that I've done this and literally almost died. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water.



3. Always wear cute workout gear.

Who doesn't like to look cute when they sweat? If you're workout attire is cuter than cute, this acts as motivation to tone that tummy.
